Admission Procedure


All applicants must submit the completed application forms, together with sealed letters of recommendation and the required certified transcript and certificates. Application forms are obtainable from the Director, Directorate of Research and Graduate Studies Completed application forms should be submitted to the Director, Directorate of Research and Graduate Studies who will forward them to the Dean, School of Humanities and Social Sciences for processing. The Senate Graduate Studies Committee will consider the applications taking into account the recommendations of the HSS Graduate Studies Committee.

The Director, Directorate of Research and Graduate Studies will communicate the decision of the Senate Graduate Studies Committee to the applicant.

Potential applicants should write to the Programme Director at the address given above, indicating their professional experience and academic training before they receive the application forms. The completed application
forms should be returned to the Director, Directorate of Research and Graduate Studies, University of Zambia, Box 32379, Lusaka. Zambia.
